Food Ball rolls onward

High school students from Aberdeen and Hoquiam have been busy collecting donations for the annual Food Ball competition and have been seen at various locations in the community asking for Grays Harbor residents to help raise money and collect food for the holiday season.
You've seen the Aberdeen students at Wal-Mart, Safeway,Top Foods, Mazatlan, McDonald's.
Whereas the Hoquiam students have tackled Franco's Tacqueria, Casa Mia, Domino's, Wal-Mart and Safeway.
Looking to top last years total of 894,006 pounds of food and money, the students have started the annual donation drive at the beginning of the month.
The tallied results happened on Monday November 16. A follow up of results along with a picture of the winners will be featured in the next issue of the Grays Harbor Herald.
