Jan. 20: Youth Mental Health First Aid presented by Pacific County Youth Alliance offers a class running from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Grays Harbor College Riverview Education Center, 600 Washington Ave., Raymond in Room 110. Similar to First Aid and CPR, Mental Health First Aid teaches individuals how to help those experiencing mental health challenges or crises. Cost $18 per person. Jan. 21: Elma Winter Wine Festival at the Grays Harbor County Fair & Event Center, 32 Elma McCleary Rd., Elma is scheduled on Jan. 21 from Noon to 9:00 p.m. Come enjoy live music all day, dozens of wineries from around the Pacific Northwest, a beer garden, food, silent auction and merchandise vendors. Must be 21 or over to attend. Discounted pre-sale tickets available through Jan. 20. Admission fees: $5 and admission packages are $15, includes entrance, wine glass and five wine tasting tickets. Jan. 21 - 22: The longest running indoor kite festival in North America returns for its 16th year. The Windless Kite Festival takes place in the Long Beach Elementary Gym. The festival features a $5 kite-making workshop and opportunities for children, families and friends to learn the art of indoor kiting. Jan. 27 - Feb. 7: The Asian New Year Kite Celebration offers a collection of displays from ten Asian countries in a two-week celebration at the World Kite Museum in Long Beach. Feb. 10 -12: Ocean Shores Renewed Antique Show. Over 60 vendors at the Ocean Shores Convention Center. Bring a non-perishable food donation for the food bank and pay only $2 entry.
Mar. 4 - 5: Beachcombers Fun Fair. 29th annual event features exhibits, seminars, information booths and vendors at the Ocean Shores Convention Center. A kid's science fair is scheduled on Saturday morning plus beach walks on Sunday morning.
Mar. 17 - 19: Razor Clam Festival & Seafood Extravaganza. Celebrate the natural bounty of life on the coast. The event features an artisan marketplace, children's activities, live entertainment, cultural exhibits and the Clam Chowder Cook-Off at the Ocean Shores Convention Center.
