HAVA having black cat adoption event

HAVA will be having a black cat adoption event at PetSense in Aberdeen on November 14th from noon to three. There will be cats of all colors and ages, but those adopting a black cat will receive a kitty goodie bag. Black cats are often the last to be adopted from shelters. There are a few reasons for this. They just don't stand out like a cat of a lighter or brighter color, and there is a stigma attached to them that they are bad luck. However, when you mention this to someone that has had a black cat the reply is always, "You've got to be kidding, my black cat is the best cat I've ever had!" HAVA cats have been tested for feline leukemia, are up to date on their vaccinations, and are spay/neutered. You get all of this for an adoption fee of only $80. Hope to see you there.
