Starting Monday, July 6, Lewis County Seniors emergency meal service will be entering a new phase. Seniors or their personal representative will be collecting their weekly meals by a drive through pick up line at their assigned distribution point. Your meals will be placed in your backseat or trunk to limit exposure and all employees will be wearing masks. Meals must be picked up according to your assigned delivery day. The schedule is as follows:
Monday pick up points Randal Fire Station 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Morton Senior Center 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Salkum Fire Station 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Packwood Senior Center 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Tuesdays Pe Ell Methodist Church 10:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m.
Wednesdays Twin Cities Senior Center 10:00a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Thursdays Winlock Senior Center 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Fridays Toledo Senior Center 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Salkum Fire Station 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Lewis County Seniors will continue to manage senior meal delivery. The same safety measures will remain in place and no personal information will be shared. If you are physically unable to pick up your meals yourself and do not have a personal representative able to pick up your meals for you, we will be offering delivery if necessary.
If you or someone you know is 60 years or older and would benefit from seven frozen emergency meals a week, please call the Twin Cities Senior Center at (360) 748-0061. Meals are provided at no charge, but $20-$35 a week donation is appreciated.
