Interested in helping people with gardening? Like to learn about gardening? Then you may want to become part of the WSU Master Gardener Program. In Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties you have probably attended the Home and Garden Show, a garden tour, or a workshop put on WSU by Master Gardeners. The goal of WSU Master Gardeners is to provide research based gardening information.
If this sounds interesting to you, there is room for a few more people in the 2014 training course. The training involves Saturday workshops and a WSU on-line component that is done at home. When the trainees become interns they donate at least 60 volunteer hours. If this is something that interests you, contact the WSU Extension Office in Elma, 360-482-2934 or MGTrainees@gmail.com to get your application.
