McCormick to speak at LCGS meeting

The Lewis County Genealogical Society has announced Jarlee McCormick will be the next guest speaker during the upcoming meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

The Librarian for the Chehalis LDS Family History Center (FHC), McCormick will be speaking about how the FHC can help local residents the researching their own genealogy. The LDS Church has one of the largest free genealogy databases, and McCormick is expected to give an update on any changes to their library and will speak about new tools and resources.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church (2190 Jackson Hwy., in Chehalis). This is a change in venue from the P.U.D. building to St John's Lutheran Church while the P.U.D. remodels their meeting room.
