Monday, December 1, 2014 4:09 pm
The Christmas Parade is going to be happening on December 6, this upcoming Saturday in downtown Raymond. The parade starts at 6 pm on Saturday, but before the parade, Frosty the Snowman will make an appearance at the Raymond Theatre at noon. At 1 pm there will be a free movie called, Arthur Christmas, after which Santa will make an appearance. After the parade everyone is invited to the New Life Fellowship for free soup and rolls.
There is also going to be the first annual Christmas bizarre going on this upcoming weekend, on December 6, from to 4 pm, and on December 7, from 10 am to 3 pm. The bizarre will be at the Pacific County Fairgrounds and will feature holiday oriented items such as Christmas tree ornaments, and signs to decorate your house, and there will also be someone there displaying their designer jeans.
About two weeks from now there's going to be a lighted boat parade and Christmas festival in South Bend on Friday, December 19 at Elixir and the 101 Public House. There will be music, vendors, a tree lighting, kid crafts and gifts from Santa.
There is a lot to be busy with this holiday season in South Bend and Raymond; so come get busy and support your community.
