Throughout the month of October, anyone who signs up for a new Timberland Regional Library (TRL) card at any of the 27 branches in Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific or Thurston counties, will be eligible to win one of five new Nook eReaders.

Library cards are free and available at any TRL library. Aspiring patrons need a photo ID and proof of current address, such as a piece of received mail. Children under age 17 must have a parent or guardian complete the card application for their kids.

What can I do with a Timberland library card?

  • Access print and electronic books, magazines, movies and music

  • Use library computers with high-speed Internet and Microsoft Office software

  • Participate in cultural events for adults, kids and teens

  • Take in Story Times with your babies, toddlers and preschool children

  • Search TRL's Research Databases for work, study and individual pursuits

  • Call the Ask-a-Librarian information service 24/7 by phone, email and real-time chat

  • Get free Wi-Fi at all libraries daily from 6 a.m. to midnight

  • Check out a pre-loaded Nook E-reader

  • Access Homework Help for kids and teens

  • Reserve a meeting room

For more information, contact the local Timberland library or visit www.TRL.org.
