This is a big week for the ladies with the Women’s Club Salad Luncheon on Wednesday at noon and a Red Hats Gathering on Thursday at 2 p.m. Both take place at Pioneer Hall and all ladies are invited to join in the fun.

Thursday evening at 7 p.m. the joint Fire Commissioners meeting will take place at the Vader Fire Hall. All members of the Fire District are invited to attend these monthly meetings on the second Thursday of the month.

Friday’s dinner at the Café will be Russ’ Chicken Cordon Bleu. The price of the meals is $8 each and includes everything from salad to dessert. Beverage, too! And no sales tax! Contact Linda at (360) 295-0875 by Wednesday to make reservations. Tickets are also available before Tuesday’s Nutrition Lunch meal.

Saturday evening is this month’s Social Club Town Potluck at 5 p.m. in Community Hall. Bring a little "somethin’-somethin" and enjoy a great meal with friends and neighbors. There is a brief Social Club meeting following the meal and some folks stay after to play "5 Crown".

Sunday evening at 6 p.m. will be the next Ice Cream Social and Card Bingo in Community Hall. Come enjoy ice cream, cake and coffee and stay for some fun Card Bingo where the players swap their small change with one another. Sometimes you go home with more than you came with,

The Senior Nutrition meal on Tuesday, March 18, will be: Turkey Tetrazzini, Country Trio Veggies, Jell-o Salad. Call Jan at (360) 295-0597 by 8 p.m. on Monday to make or break reservations. The suggested donation is now $3 per meal, which is still a bargain. All Senior Citizens (60+) are eligible for the "pay what you can" price. It is also OK to "pay it forward" or order additional meals to help offset recent funding cuts.
