Several Deserve Thanks for South Bend Easter Egg Hunt

Willapa River Lions Club member Larry Sinclair and his crew. The Willapa River Lions club has handled this event for many years and provides the laborers who so lovingly place the bounty of eggs and candy on the field and manage the participants and crowd.

Raymond High School Students for assembling and labeling the plastic eggs.

South Bend Schools for allowing the event to be held on their practice field.

Mrs. Betty Dionne, Naselle, who assembled and donated Easter Baskets.  Additional merchants from Long Beach, Seaview, Naselle, Raymond, South Bend and Astoria helped her with various items: Stormin Norman’s, Marsh’s Museum, Sid’s, Subway and Neptune Theatre, Shell Station, Texaco Station, Okie’s (Naselle & Ocean Park), Johnson’s One Stop, Naselle Hardware, Naselle Rock & Asphalt, Wahkiakum West, South Bend Pharmacy, Chester Tavern, Pioneer Grocery, Dennis Co, Plato’s, McDonald’s and Walgreen’s.

The Press and Willapa Harbor Herald for issuing the press releases and printing the thank you.

Raymond Federal Bank, for helping to organize the event, obtain prizes and for opening their branch on Saturday in order to allow redeeming of the prizes for the other businesses.
