I spoke with Jo Hepner this week and she wanted to inform the residents of Winlock that this year the Methodist Church will not be having their holiday dinner. Jo has headed up this program for many years and unfortunately she recently suffered some health problems and won't be able to put on the dinner. Many of you know Jo, she is a woman who has helped this community so much. Jo, we wish you a very speedy recovery. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to the community, we appreciate everything you have done!! Please get well soon!

This coming Saturday is Clean the Coop weekend. Every month dedicated people in our community gather in Winlock to keep the town clean. These are people who want to see the town improve, many want the town to grow so if you have any spare time, why don't you come on down to Winlock and help keep the town beautiful!
If you would like to know what is happening in Winlock, why not go to a City Council meeting. There they share what they are doing to help the town. I have been to a city council meeting and I can honestly say it was informational. Even though I do not live in the city limits, it's always interesting to see what our little town is up to. Take the time to get to know your city council members!
