Winlock Schools is having their "Stuff the Bus" event on August 21st from 1pm - 7pm. Items needed are school supplies such as paper, pens and pencils, binders, erasers, art supplies and anything you would be willing to give. Our kids are in need of many items on a daily basis; please help our school help our kids.

If you are strolling through Winlock and have some spare time on your hands, please don't forget to stop by the new food bank thrift store. Everyone in the store is a volunteer and would love to meet the citizen of Winlock, stop by even if its just to say hello!

Viriginia "Ginny" Matthews has been ill, it would be great if those who know her could send a card to cheer her up. Her address is P.O. Box 39, Winlock, Washington 98596. There is nothing like getting a card to lift your spirits when your body isn't cooperating.

Former City council member Sheryl John-Rose recently passed away; our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Don't forget about the Winlock Clean the Coop that happens downtown every 2nd Saturday of the Month. If you have any questions, please call Viola Chickese at All About Accounting in Winlock.
