Washington State University (WSU) Lewis County Master Gardener Volunteer, Gayland Wilmovski, will be presenting a workshop on Digging, Dividing & Storing Dahlia's on Saturday, November 7. The class runs from 10 am to Noon at the Borst Demo Garden at Borst Park in Centralia.
The Plant & Insect Clinic is open through the winter. Are you interested in learning more about what is going on with your trees, plants, shrubs and flower? The WSU Lewis County Extension Office, located at 351 NW North Street in Chehalis, is oopen and staffed every week to answer questions about garden pests, soils and any other question you may have about gardening. Stop by anytime between Noon and 3 pm on Tuesdays from November through February. Plant Clinic is another free program for community residents.
WSU Extension Master Gardener program's mission is to provide public education in home gardening and environmental stewardship generated from research at WSU and other university systems. WSU Master Gardener Volunteers educate the community about issues of importance in their local communities that enhance natural resources, sustain communities and improve the health and wellness of Washington residents.
