A reminder of local Memorial Day services

Below are the times and locations of local Memorial Day services open for both veterans and residents to attend.

Those seeking to help with these events are encouraged to meet at the Veterans Clubhouse in Winlock (575 Nevil Rd.) at 8:30 a.m., while others may join the ceremonies as they are able.

These services have been organized by American Legion Post 101 and VFW Post 3409, based in Winlock.

9:30 a.m. - Napavine Cemetery

10 a.m. - St. Urban Cemetery

10:30 a.m. - Vader Catholic Cemetery

11 a.m. - Little Falls Cemetery

Noon - Winlock Cemetery

A Potluck lunch will be served for volunteers and veterans after the noon ceremony at the Veterans Clubhouse.

1 p.m. - Dedication of Ed Leonard Memorial, at clubhouse flagpole.

2 p.m. - St. Frances Cemetery

2:30 p.m. - Lone Hill Cemetery

3 p.m. - Toledo Cemetery
