Funded by the Raymond Schools Foundation, all the art and jewelry students had the opportunity to learn how to make a leather-bound journal guided by local artist Terri Newman. The students finished a three-week study in calligraphy and now have hand crafted a beautiful leather bound journal in which to use their newly acquired skill thanks to the generosity of Raymond Schools Foundation.

The workshop involved one day of intensive instruction wherein each student was able to construct their own journals using hand chosen unique paper and then were able to embellish their individual book using a multitude of creative options of stamps, and cutouts. Their finished creations are on display in a showcase at Raymond High School.
