Titus Oran Sickles was born on Monday, Jan. 8 and weighed in at 8 pounds 5 ounces and 20 inches long. When he was born he was not breathing, he had hot air around his lungs and they were not sure why. The breathing apparatus is now gone and he is breathing on his own. He is on a feeding tube because his stomach is not digesting food.
They are anticipating him going into surgery within the week where they will perform a different operation. The doctors will be doing the Norwood procedure which means he will have to be on life support during the surgery. The family is excited because the baby's birth has turned out better than anticipated. Please continue to keep this family in your prayers as the baby goes in for surgery.
