Raymond, Wash.

Wynona L’Hommedieu a longtime Pacific County resident, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at her home in Raymond.  She was born August 5, 1919 in Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. D.B. Davis. 

She is survived by a daughter, Eddrene Pickernell, of Bay Center, a sister, Ludie Rouse, of Alabama, and a brother, Denver Davis, also of Alabama; grandchildren Glenda Pine of Raymond, Wynona Pickernell of Bay Center, John Pickernell of Bay Center and Violet Bowling of South Bend and many great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. 

Wynona was preceded in death by a grandson, as well as eight other brothers and sisters.

Wynona had many beloved hobbies, including sports fishing, cooking, canning, sewing and gardening.  She spent lots of time making memories with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wynona will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, January 8,  at the Bay Center Cemetery next to her late husband, Bryson.  Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s in Raymond.
